The Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test 2026 is a must for the aspirants preparing for the Rajasthan Sarkari Naukri in the state. This examination is being conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) and serves as a preliminary test of all recruitments conducted by the various state government departments. Candidates have to pass the CET and can become eligible for all recruitment instead of appearing in all the prelim recruitment process.

As numerous vacancies are likely to be published by the various departments of government in the year 2026 so the Rajasthan CET will become one of the important examinations for 12th pass and graduate candidates. The candidate has to learn the complete notification of examination, the criteria to attend the same and the pattern of examination as well as its importance.

What is Rajasthan CET?

Rajasthan CET (Common Eligibility Test) is the state's own eligibility examination that will reduce the process of recruitments for several government posts. Aspirants qualifying for CET are eligible to apply for a number of RSSB recruitments without having to face multiple preliminary tests.

The test is conducted on two levels:

  • Senior Secondary (12th Level) CET

The Senior Secondary Level CET is for those who have cleared the 12th Standard while the Graduation Level CET is for the holders of bachelor's degrees.

Why Rajasthan CET Matters for Government Jobs

  1. A Single Exam, Multiple Options

In earlier times, aspiring candidates had to take the preliminary examination of several recruitments individually. CET has simplified the task of candidates by the formation of a single eligibility exam on the basis of which they are allowed to appear in multiple recruitment exams.

  1. Reduces Cost and Saves Time

Candidates need to appear for a single recruitment examination instead of filling forms and preparing for the preliminaries of multiple recruitment exams, which in return saves:

  • Examination fees
  • Travel expenses
  • Examination preparation burden
  • Repetition of application procedures and documentation process
  1. Ensures More Transparency in Recruitment Process

The screening exam on a standard level through an eligibility exam is very necessary in every state recruitment for fair assessment of candidates. CET is the eligibility exam for Rajasthan state.

  1. One of the major requirements for huge recruitment by RSSB

Many of the large recruitments made by RSSB have been made compulsory, for CET qualified candidates. Recent recruitments for LDC, Forester, and some others also showed how CET is really important, not just in a theoretical way but in practice.

  1. Vast Number of Vacancies

Thousands of vacancies are announced annually by the RSSB for various departments; these vacancies are available to candidates holding the CET qualification whereas, for those who are not qualified CET scores will restrict them from many opportunities.

Preparation Strategy for CET 2026

The candidates who aspire for Rajasthan CET 2026 need to concentrate on the following:

  • Rajasthan GK and current affairs.
  • Frequent revision of History, Geography and politics.
  • Practice questions of reasoning and mathematics.
  • Solve previous years question papers.
  • Frequently appear in mock tests.
  • Read the notifications properly.

Since CET is the initial entrance to various jobs under Rajasthan state government, higher marks in it are going to be an advantage to candidates in the selection process.

Conclusion

The Rajasthan CET 2026 is being declared as a stepping stone for Sarkari Naukri recruitment in the state. For the 12th passed students aiming for clerks and police, or the graduates preparing for the Patwari, Junior Accountant and Supervisor level posts, passing the CET will soon be mandatory. With an easier selection process, expanded job profile and uniformed selection procedure, the CET provides great benefit to aspiring candidates. It is advisable for the candidates to keep a check on the official RSSB notifications and start their preparation right away in order to avail Rajasthan Government Jobs .
