If you are tracking the Jio IPO , dates matter because a missed deadline means a missed bid. Here is the full timeline as reported.
The timeline
- October 19, 2026: anchor bidding, about Rs 8,110 crore raised from more than 200 investors.
- October 21: the issue opened for public bidding.
- October 23: the issue closed. Applications for eligible categories ran until 5 pm, with UPI mandates to be created by 7 pm on the last day .
- October 26: basis of expected allocation.
- October 27: refunds start and shares are credited to demat accounts.
- October 28: listing on BSE and NSE.
Why the sequence matters
Anchor investors come first so the issue has a basis of institutional demand. Public bidding then runs for three days. Allotment is decided by the registrar, KFin Technologies, after the book closes.
What changed from the first announcements
The 48th Reliance AGM in August 2025 flagged a first-half 2026 target. The draft papers went to SEBI on June 19, 2026, and the issue opened in October.
What to do now
The bidding window is closed. If you applied, watch for allotment on October 26 and check your demat account on October 27.
