Fast attacks make every on-hit effect feel important, but a busy screen does not necessarily mean a stronger build. In Hero Siege Season 10, Patch 7.0.11 fixed an issue that had caused multiple attack-proc sources to override one another, allowing them to trigger at the same time. For players tuning gear and skills, the practical question is how those extra triggers perform over a full fight. Even decisions about Hero Siege Gold matter most when they support a clear plan for testing and refining a character.
The update makes proc combinations more viable, but it does not make every combination efficient. Attack speed, trigger conditions, target durability, and time spent dealing damage all shape the result. A useful build is not simply the one with the most effects firing; it is the one that turns its available hits into reliable progress.
What simultaneous procs mean in practice
A proc is an effect that has a chance to occur when a qualifying action happens. Depending on its source, that action might be a weapon hit or another specific event. When several sources can activate without suppressing one another, a single attack may contribute to more than one effect. That creates more room for combinations built around repeated hits.
The distinction matters most when a character attacks quickly. If each hit can check one or more proc conditions, a high attack rate creates more opportunities over time. Those opportunities can add elemental damage, area coverage, or other useful effects, depending on the sources equipped.
Still, an opportunity is not a guaranteed trigger. Proc chance and any internal limits on an effect determine how often it actually appears. A skill that strikes several times may also behave differently from one powerful strike, so players should check what each source responds to before drawing conclusions.
Fast hits and single strikes
A rapid-hit build spreads its output across many attacks. This can make chance-based effects feel consistent, since repeated hits offer more chances for them to occur. It may also help effects that apply per hit, especially when enemies stay within range long enough for the character to keep attacking.
A single-hit build puts more weight on each attack. If its main strike deals heavy damage, it can perform well against a target that falls quickly, even when proc effects rarely activate. Slow attacks leave fewer chances for chance-based sources, but a strong direct hit may not need them to finish ordinary enemies.
The comparison depends on the encounter. Groups can reward effects that spread or trigger often, while a durable boss may reveal whether extra procs sustain useful damage over time. Neither approach is automatically superior: skill scaling, enemy health, positioning, and downtime all influence the outcome.
Testing whether the setup earns its space
Compare builds under similar conditions. Use the same target type, skill, gear where possible, and test duration. Record how long it takes to defeat a durable enemy, then repeat the test enough times to reduce the influence of lucky triggers. A short test can make a chance-based setup look unusually strong or weak.
Watch for the difference between visible activity and effective output. Effects may appear often yet contribute little against a particular enemy, while a quieter setup may deal more reliable direct damage. Also consider resource use, survivability, and how comfortably the character can maintain attacks; a narrow damage gain may not justify a more demanding rotation.
Build around the result, not the spectacle
Multiple active proc sources give fast attackers more ways to convert repeated hits into damage, but every source still competes for equipment or skill investment. Choose effects that complement the character's attack pattern, then verify their contribution in realistic fights. A measured comparison is more useful than judging by flashes on screen.
Season 10's proc behavior opens additional options without removing the need for careful tuning. Rapid-hit characters may gain the most when their sources trigger often and provide meaningful effects, while single-hit builds can remain effective through strong direct damage. Treat cheap Hero Siege Gold as one part of planning your upgrades, and let repeatable combat tests determine whether a proc-focused setup truly improves the build.
